New in D6 Platform: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

A new D6 feature that has generated great buzz is SOA using Documentum Foundation Services (DFS). It may take quite some time to write detailed posts about DFS and SOA in D6. However, I can get you started with a good overview at CMSWiRE. Enjoy!

I just upgraded Documentum 5.2.5 system to D6. I am just about to port existing WDK customisations to D6. At this time I am wondering whether I must know/use DFS to customise WDK applications using D6, this post clarified my doubts!

Can i get a complete list of url based access for repository related activities such as upload document, rename, delete, edit, search within documents/ folders etc.

The external application only supports http calls . Hence if we can get a complete list of http calls, we can interate from any application supporting http calls.

example to search a document, i can issue
    http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/api/search/keyword?q=invoice-54

similarly can we get http urls for
    1-upload docuents
    2-Get and edit docuents
    3-Delete documents
    4-Email documents

Even though these are specified as part of several documents, if we can get all these in once place, it will help

You cite Alfresco in the URL example. Are you looking for URL’s for Alfresco or for D6?
